Meals on Wheels Delivery

Meals on Wheels operates Monday-Friday and is always in need of volunteers to help us deliver meals.  Volunteers arrive at the pick-up site between 10:30am – 11:30am. Routes are generally 10 miles or less, and take approximately 30-45 minutes.  Volunteers provide their own transportation.

To become a volunteer, you must attend a short orientation either at our Nutrition Center or area senior centers or our “Let’s Do Lunch” sessions held periodically throughout the year.  We will take you through the entire process of Meals on Wheels, from what to do when you first arrive to leaving out the door ready to deliver meals. Tours of our kitchen are available by request.  Our friendly staff looks forward to meeting you!  For more information or to schedule your orientation time, please call Becky Wilson at 864-223-2233 or call the senior center within your community.

Group/Business/Church
PAOA has several different groups who take a weekly route.  If your church, club or organization would like to sponsor a route, call our office for more details.
