Meals on Wheels Delivery

Meals on Wheels operates Monday-Friday and is always in need of volunteers to help us deliver meals.  Volunteers picking up meals from our kitchen can arrive as early as 9:00am to get their meals and as late as 11:00am. Pick-up times from our satellite sites vary by site but are generally from 10:00am -11:00am Routes are generally 10 miles or less, and take approximately 30-45 minutes.  Volunteers provide their own transportation.

To become a volunteer, you must attend a short orientation either at our Nutrition Center or your area senior center. Our staff will review the process of our Meals on Wheels delivery program, from what to do when you first arrive to leaving out the door ready to deliver meals. Tours of our kitchen are available by request.  Our friendly staff looks forward to meeting you!  For more information or to schedule your orientation time, please call Jaquisha Reed at 864-854-9156 or call the senior center within your community.
